Delete your Extra Rice, Please account

You can delete your account and its data at any time.

Have Pro? Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first. Deleting your account doesn’t stop the subscription.

In the app

1. Open Extra Rice, Please and tap your profile icon.
2. Go to Account & sync, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately, and the app’s data on that phone is cleared.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email us from your account’s email address and we’ll delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner. We’ll confirm by email when it’s done.

What is deleted

• Your account, email address and password
• Your synced profile, preferences, and calorie and macro targets
• Your favourites, food log, meal plan, pantry, extra grocery items, and recipe ratings and notes
• Your AI usage count and subscription status

What is kept, and for how long

• Technical logs kept by our hosting provider for security are deleted automatically within a few weeks, and any backup copies within 30 days.
• If you bought Pro, purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. The app store keeps its own record of the payment.
• If you emailed us, we keep that conversation only as long as needed to complete your request.
• If you delete your account by email, data on your phone stays until you erase it in the app or uninstall the app.

Deleting only some data

You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove things. In the app you can delete your own recipes, foods and meals, remove meals from your plan and items from your grocery list, remove favourites, and change your targets. Your health profile is stored only on your phone.

To have specific data erased from our servers, email privacy@extrarice.app from your account’s email address and tell us what to remove. We’ll do it within 30 days and confirm by email.
